But the thing about Oneidas is you can under draw or "snap shoot" them (same as drawing a long draw to 28") just draw and anchor at normal spot and have shot short draws and "over drawn" them with a little give in the limbs and gotten my 29.5" draw out of a short with no problem. You can also put draw stops on them if you want a solid back wall to draw against. The early bows were only like a 50% let off and the draw cycle doesn't draw to a hard "wall" like a new Mathews,Hoyt,BowTech or any of the 2015 hunting bows where a 1/2" of draw has you off the back wall of the draw cycle,for bowfishing most people turn the weight way down or shave the limbs down,so your holding very little weight at draw and have seen the newer Oneidas at low weight where can draw the bow and hang it by its own weight on the string.
I have my original H250 that bought in early 1980's and bought it for hunting and shot a lot of deer with it in the day and it was a big step up from my Bear Whitetail Hunter. The thing I don't get is, I have been shooting Oneidas since they started making them.
